Kama Restaurant draws inspiration from the fire. The open Wood Fired Grill is its centrepiece and identity. The life of fire, from conception in raw wood form, to its dying embers, are all present in its design elements. Scandinavian references, especially relationship with wood and fire, feature consistently across all aspects of the space. Elegant, yet casual and welcoming, permeating with the warm energy of fire. Controlled lighting elevates and reinforces warmth. Oak features prominently in its construction and accents, encapsulating diners from floor to ceiling. Blue signifies the heart of the flame; blue notes persist in key details, symbolizing a dying ember and its remains. Burnt metal panels in blue gradation further underpin its symbolism. Orange is warm and ever present, making up the balance of the space. An open Chefs Table promotes conviviality. Last but not least, a custom metal chandelier haunts the ceiling, tying the space together with raw energy of metal and heat.
